is there a way to make the menu just a blank screen with my logo on it? (no trees or rain, just a picture that I want to put as the background)

No, sorry, you can't, al least by now, we will work on the menu interface someday.

There is one thing that bothers me, whenever you say "someday" I get the impression that you are just dreaming that you will do it but never will.

What I wanted to say is that our priority now is to finish the two factions of the game (that would be version 1.0.0). Once we've acomplished that goal we will see what we do.
