Well, anytime I installed Glest, the default settings was set the best that is working (so the max lights were 1, shadows were projected), so it was always working at the first start.

OS = MS Windows XP Professional
CPU = P4 2.53 GHz
Mem = 512MB PC____ DDR
GPU = Radeon 7500
Driver = 6.11, I think...

Glest Versions: 2.0.1-3.1.1
Speed = Mid twenties-fourties
MaxLights: 8
3D Textures=Yes
Filters = Trilinier and Bilinier
