« on: 19 May 2007, 13:41:37 »
Hi!
I'm making a simple editor to manage mod for Glest.
This is some screenshot:
Code: [Select]

The programm is now in pre-alpha stage, i hope to release a GPL version in the next week.

But to achieve this goal i need much more explanation about xml.

*Resources:
how many tipe of resources Glest have? what are theyr charateristic?

other questions to come...

Hope this is for Windows an *nix, though this should really be a problem for such a editor :P

I was going to make an editor for the xml but it didn't seem like people were interested
Code: [Select]
(post), people might change their minds after it's made and working though. My
Code: [Select]
old design is on the Wikia. Add me to msn for discussion.

Unfortunately at the beginning G(lest) U(ltra) E(ditor) is planned for windows. But if other people are going to develop editor, we can merge our works and make a single cross-platform editor.
I've added you to my msn, hailstone.

looks cool,

but it takes the fun out of modding of trying again and again till it works

the fun in wondering if it works or not

thumbs up to you and your project though

I'm going to migrate the project from Delphi to Lazarus, in order to make it for both win and linux.

The project is having a shape.
Fetures:
- creation of mod packages easy-to-install
- tools to create mods without edit manually xml
- mod install/uninstall tool with backup
- more to come...
