Posting ads?

I wonder if the moderators are gonna ban the people who keep posting ad threads. Just like the thread below this one, the buy viagra thread. You know, where they post links to buy whatever it is. Curious...

It's really lame that they do that.

see other threads: it was discussed, that only the admins have the permission to delete user accounts.

although, they will register a new one...

We are aware of this situation, and actually I recently deleted around a thousand spam accounts. Unfortunately they won´t stop spamming, so there´s not much to do other than this cleaning from time to time. :(

i have make a litle modifications to the forum php code...
now, the orcs-assasin-bloddy-enemy-trolls-spamers are out of our castle!!  :wink:

1 - the register link is a javascript
2 - the register.php file is renamed

The bots cant access to the register option :)

Isn't that just like what they used to do: change the directory so the spam couldn't find it again? But that was only a temporary fix!

I don't remember how I registered, do you have sevurity like "type the text in the image" stuff?

Yes... the register has the email verification and code input... but the bots crack that protections.

By now, there is not spam!!   :)
