Well...oh well, if you deleted all the bots that registered on this forum, at least 1/4...probably around a little bit less than 1/2...of the member population would go down...  ::)

search his/her name will give you all the foss games
rps/rts/fps and other in one search
you should memorize that name

as for me where i found it..............
yeah i was searching for foss games and came across freegamer.blogspot.com which had a gr8 article about Mega Glest
and an interview with tit and softcoder ..............hehehe hope i didnt blow his cover or something

There's a database site called Acid-Play.com. It's my favorite collection of freelance games. I'm glad that I found Glest, even my 7 years old brother plays it. :D

I couldn't get links to MegaGlest or GAE at all by searching combinations of such terms, only Glest (note that you'd have to use a "clean" PC, as most search engines track you to give you searches better based on what you've visited before; so a huge Glest player who has googled lots of Glest related stuff is more likely to see Glest higher in the results than someone who has not).

For what it's worth, MegaGlest is currently on position #5 when you search for 'Glest' on Google without country resolution, without geo localisation (which was lately introduced as yet another automatism), with Google Instant (default when Javascript is on), with duplicate filtering (default) and with moderate safe search setting (default).

To reproduce, start Firefox/Iceweasel or Chrome/Chromium in private browsing / incognito mode (restart the web browser if it's already running in this mode), visit http://google.com/ncr then http://google.com/search?query=glest

I tried that, and very interesting. Still, let's be honest here, nobody searching for a new game will search for "glest". Instead, they'll be searching things like "free", "game", "rts", etc. After all, they haven't found Glest yet; the goal is to grab a player looking generically for games, as rather few will know exactly what they're looking for (in which case, most of them likely will go to the first link).
