cant start glest

i cant start glest when i try to start it through console i get the error below
open /dev/[sound/]dsp: No such file or directory
Exception: Couldn't open audio device.

This is most likely because another program is using the audio device. If you want to run Glest without sound then check out http://www.glest.org/glest_board/viewtopic.php?p=11980
