Query About RTS Game

Hello,
  I just visited this website and found out very interesting. I am an Computer Science Final Year Student making RTS game as an project. Can someone guide me how this Glest would help me as this game is also open source.

You say 'also' open source,  does this mean your game is open source too? if so, is it possible for us to get ideas from it?
