Noob who needs a lot of help
« on: 12 October 2007, 20:05:51 »
Hello! I'm relatively new to Glest and would like a lot of help. What I need is information on how to convert a a blender file to xml and then to g3d. If anyone is kind enough to help, PLEASE be as DETAILED as possible. I'm completely confused and have no idea what is going on.  :?

Ok now I've got how to create a model and export it to xml, but how to I turn my unwrap into a TGA image? is it necessary to export it to xml after the TGA is created? and of course, HOW the heck do you turn your xml into g3d? I've read all of the guides but none tell me exactly what to do. Please remember that I'm not a genius and I don't know very much computer language. Thanks a ton for anyone reading this and replying!      :'(

Ok now, I've got my .xml model to .g3d. only problem is when I export it it only shows 1/4 of my model in the g3d viewer. Please, would someone help? and also how do you get it to show the texture in the g3d viewer? thanks to all for reading this.

You don't need to make parallel posts in both general and development. (I answered the one in development)
