Bad behave in killer history on update units
« on: 24 December 2007, 02:48:23 »
When a unit is updated the new unit start with the initial level and its level increase after each kill.

Example: If I have a master battlemage with 31 kills and I update it to archmage he will start as “archmage with 31 kills (5 to expert)” after one kill he will become “expert archmage with 32 kills (15 to master)” after another kill he will become “master archmage with 33 kills (30 to legendary)” after another kill he will become “legendary archmage with 34 kills”

It should start as start as “archmage with 0 kills (5 to expert)” or “legendary archmage with 31 kills”

I only test it in Magic, but happen with all units.

Btw, GREAT GAME !!!!

Yes, that behaviour is as expected. When you update a unit the unit will lose the rank, and it will go up by one with every kill, as long as it has killed enough units.

Thanks, I didn't realize that you planned in this way.

Another question, it is possible to increase a characteristic (like max-hp, max-ep, regeneration, armor, sight) during the game by only editing the XML file. I want to create a button to morph the unit to the same unit with others (better) characteristics. Instead of change a unit to another I would like to train it.

I don't think you can, but you might be able to use the same 3d model for the unit to pretend is the same one.
