Missing glu.h from sourcefiles

I just downloaded the source files (from http://sourceforge.net/project/showfile ... _id=141386) and glu.h is missing.

you should install package libglu1-mesa-dev

Thanks very much!, that overcame that hurdle.. but now the compiler is complaining it can't find "XercesDefs.hpp", any ideas on that?

You should install xerces-c

WooHoo! got it compiling & linking (on Visual C++ 2008 Express). Thanks to everyone above and especially daniel santos (http://www.glest.org/glest_board/viewtopic.php?t=3271).

Now to play around with it...

A bit off topic... but I seriously laughed out loud at the solutions.  Simple, straight forward, and since I've gotten the blasted VC v8 to compile glest, in retrospec seem obvious.
