ok I found out what is causing the flashing colors and all that. It's the screensize I set to 1440x900 I guess it either does not like the size or it does not like the fact that it's 6:10 ratio. But when I put it back to 1024x768 it worked perfectly.

Also, i have a patch with just the changes from 3.0.0-->3.1.0 so the magic and tech in indians will have new prices etc.

I will attach it or something, perhaps send it to TITI =D

Hehehe. A patch? All you did was delete the old magic and tech factions in the megapack folder. Then you copied and pasted the new magic and tech factions into the megapack folder. Great patch :)

That brings up another topic. As the Glest versions increase and the units costs and abilites are edited, creating a new tech will be....annoying. After every version change, the tech-tree creator will have to update the tree the same way James did it.

Well did you try the zip file I posted above.

I changes the indians to be in the megitech tree and so there is no redundant download for the other 2. And you don't have to change the tree. Also What I did to the science I added to the readme.txt to show what changes I made. Basicly I removed all the windows thumbnail cache files. I also changed the attack-style from sword do slashing and the attack-style magic to energy. Because if you don't change them it would cause the game to crash. Anyway try my download and let me know.

I think battle cannon is made that strong because you are helpless without it. and it's needed to make science a contender to the rest of the game. I think if you reduced battle cannon it would make science to weak to use.

I really don't understand your post or why you keep quoting me. But I have posted the download 2 times now. Please actually try the download instead of posting nonsense and I really don't care to be quoted.
