what do i have to download to be able to access the irc? when i click on any link including irc it says something like "firefox cannot access (IRC) because it is not associated with any internet client". PLEASE HELP!!!!

You could try an IRC client ... such as mIRC for Windows or XChat for Linux and Windows. There are heaps more clients  out there.

I recommend Pidgin. It supports every OS and every chat protocol I know of.

or chatzilla because its implemented right into firefox. you can install it over firefox-plugins-menu under linux, too.

I have the same problem. I have pidgin but i dont know what 2 do!!

for pidgin go to account>add/edit>add.
then chosse IRC as protocol and type in the server adress. I don't know the url right now, but it is in the forum.
