To answer your question, maxpower, I think that the GAE team is Glest now in terms of the engine.  But us in the Mods thread are still working, and when we get something done, all that is needed is that someone releases a new version of Glest with the new stuff included.  Some also have access to the Glest.org website, so it will be as if the Glest team never left in terms of upkeep.  It may also be easier now because there is no need for anyone to "approve" what we are working on or what we want to be the new version because we on the forum will decide.

I still think you're making this way too complicated, John.  You are in essence doubling (at least) the number of animations that need to be made.  But at least you agree with me on how the type of death should be calculated.

So, in the (very) long run this means Glest and GAE will be "merged"?
