Hello, this is my first post here at Glest, and I find this game truly and simply amazing. But thats obviously not the point of this thread.
First and foremost, I am not a computer programmer by any standard, nor am I a 3D graphic designer. HOWEVER I feel that since both of these are what I wish to do, I need to find a good place to start.
Now, I think Glest would be a good place to start, in my humble opinion, and I'd like to have as much information as possible when it comes to modifying Glest and building models using Blender.
Also, be aware that I am a Linux user, if you should decide to advise me to download this and download that, it may not be available to me.
