This is a strange error, we shall investigate it. Just one question, have you uninstalled any previuos versions of the game?

I have made a mini-patch for the game to gather more info about this bug, and I have uploaded it here: http://http://www.glest.org/files/glest_patch_v0.8.0.1.zip.

Please download it, replace the glest.exe file in the folder of the game by the one in this zip file, run the game again, and tell me the contents of the crash.txt file.

Thanx in advance. Martin-o.

Thanx for the info.

I've done a bit of reasearch and there may be some problem with SSE instructions. I've uploaded a new glest.exe file with SSE disabled there (I've disabled the previous link):

http://www.glest.org/files/glest_patch_v0.8.0.2.zip

Please try it and tell me if that solves the problem.

This last error is different from the previous ones. It's located in the program destruction, You didn't get any more info? like a window with a message?

v1.0 will feature all the models, all the icons for the interface and a new music for the magic faction. It should be very stable too, martin-o is working hard (as you can see), to get rid of every bug.
