How to compile on windows ?

I compiled GAE on linux without big problems, now i would like to compile it on windows vista. How to do this ?

Well, it shouldn't be any different but I can't make any guarantees about it working being compiled for 64 bit windows, I don't believe that any of the windows-specific code has been tested for win64.  You can still run the 32 bit version on Vista however.

I have windows vista 32 bit. It would be interesting to compile on windows 64 bit, but i don't have a 64bit windows.

  However, i compiled glest and gae on linux 64bit and it works .

I want to compile because I hope to make the game working better in my home, I would like to compile glest 3.1.2 after too (because when I click on an icon to recruit units, the units are not always recruted. So to recruit 5 units I must click 12 time on the icon on Wvista when I have not this problem on linux).

I downloaded microsoft visual C++ 2008 express edition, I don't if it is the good thing to compile and how to use it. I hope to get help in this forum, of course if I find by another way I will post it.
