This can't be normal...
« on: 28 May 2008, 14:24:32 »
Hi, I just exported my model from 3DS MAX to blender (.obj); size = 16 kib. Exported it via blender to .xml; size = 7.53mib... Converted using the xml2g for windows; size = 1.53 mib.

This is the second version of this model, previous one was just 1.03 mib, that one had 250 frames. This one had 1 frame....

This can't be normal, can it?

Edit: looks like everything about it is weird... The second texture is just the UVW template, which I adjusted in photoshop. That UVW template doesn't even exist anymore :s

That makes it even weirder, as the .g3d increased in site with less frames... while frames shouldn't matter! :D  Anyway, there was something wrong with that model anyway... seriously wrong...

you can look at the xml for errorseeking. look at the vertexnumbers and stuff. If you cannot find something you can upload it then i will have a look.
