[OpenSuSE 11.0] Glest 3.1.2 language problem
« on: 22 June 2008, 00:02:27 »
Hi All,
i'm running an OpenSuSE 11.0 system installed yesterday. I've installed Glest 3.1.2 using YaST Package Manager. When i click on the icon the game doesn't start, so if i type in console "glest" i get this:
Code: [Select]
hawake@RisingStar:~> glest
Exception: Can't open propertyMap file: data/lang/italiano.lng
hawake@RisingStar:~>

How i can solve this problem?

Thanks in advance,

Bye bye

Try running as root and check that the file exists.

You have to look up the permissions of the file. Owner and Group must be the normal User and "user"-group.

Thats an normal problem with the rpm-packages. You have to use the precompiled binares frim titi. http://www.glest.org/glest_board/viewtopic.php?t=3325
