Duck Playable Race, probably last version.

Added some units, threw some units out. Made the images, added the unit levels.
I think I can say it's pretty much done now, as I wasn't planning on anything big. Unless anyone else thinks I should continue working on these, I consider these done. :D). Balanced the siege ducks, they attacked way too fast.

And like I said, the images are finally done! I hope I implanted all of them. The biggest part of them were made by a friend of mine, I did the rest. :)

Edit: Forgot to mention, the ducks folder is still a separate tech tree, not just a tech. Because I needed the resources.

In the game I played, I was the only one to produce any more units. The ai seems to not get what to do. And only one ai collected resources

Hrm... strange... Everything seems to work with me, and they do collect resources, but not immediatly, they start when the starter resources run out. But I've never seen them not creating any units though...

1. Also wenn sich z.B. eine Ente in eine fliegende Ente umwandelt ist die fliegende Ente danach auf dem Boden(DAS IST EIN FEHLER IN GLEST). Die fliegende Ente kann nur in einem Haus oder von einer Figur produziert werden (daran bastel ich grad herum)

2.Wo ist das Nest geblieben?mal versuchen in English:Where is your Nest?

PS:Kann das jemand auf English übersetzen?

I asked my son to correkt his VERY strange posting, I didn't understand anyting of what he wrote....

Ok here is the english translation:

1.If you try morph a duck into a flying duck, the flying duck is lying on the ground after the morphing. Flying units can only be produced by units, otherwise they will not "fly". I'm trying to fix this at the moment.

2. Where is your nest?

1. Is your son trying to fix that, or are you? If it is your son it's pretty impressive to see a 10 year old programming, heh.

2. My nest? Do I have a nest? :)


Anyway, this project is more or less dead. Can seem to work my way around the AI.

Do I need a motivation for that? :D Actually I just found a 3model a 3d bath duck" tutorial, and just had to try it out. And after some adjustments to the map, I could make ducks swimming on the water.

After that I was just doing some retexturing to make other ducks.

Meh, I'm starting to miss my ducks! Going to try fixing that AI (if I can find out why it doesn't work for you guys). Removing the aero duck, implanting a science duck (for upgrades)

If anybody has a suggestion, request or anything whatsoever, please let me know, as I'm not sure what else I can do at the moment, heh. I need to add some more strategy to it, like putting defensive buildings to good use.

I just remembered something, units who morphed don't fly. But they also don't increase storage! (Like my storage duck) If your son could also fix that... :D

BTW; Is anyone skilled in understanding Glest's AI? They start of with hatching eggs, and evolving etc. But once they don't have gold anymore, they rarely start mining. Sometimes they do, and other times they don't mine at all...
