I'm working on a new tileset . It's some kind of forest, but I still need a name for it. Do you gave any ideas?

I looked for a translation for the german "Mischwald".
www.Leo.org
translates it to "mixed forest". Is this ok?

Yay! pines!
Oh and about the name - try
schwarzward
(pronounced "shvarzvard"). That's German for "Black Forest".

"An interesting tileset with strange trees, bushes, etc."
Really. Now I also have a good joke for it's name: "Canadian forest"

A first version is downloadable now:
download at
http://www.titusgames.de
And thanks for all your comments!
Please give me more when you tested it!
And please listen to the sounds ( day/night/rain) !!
(I'm still undecided what name I will use. Probably I should start a poll for it )

I like this one!
A bit more simple:
"Whispering Pines"
What do you think?

I had a look at leo.org....
I think "pine" is not correct. The trees look more like firs.
what about
"fir forest"
or
"firs and birds"

Pines can be called for any evergreen and Whispering Pines sounds better than Whispering Firs

since Glest is a fantancy game the title set should not be a real place on earth but more genaric or fantacy in nature like never never land. Now you could call it Never Evergreen Forest
