[Network]Data error?
« on: 7 July 2008, 10:04:21 »
I've done a home network with two PC (with linux: wine)

When the server launch the game, at the end of the loading, the hosted computer have this message (and glest crash):
Quote
Error: Unhandled Exception
ERROR(S):
checksum error, you don't have the same data as the server

What can we do?

Its as it says, you don't have the same information as the other guy. I used to get that a lot. I reinstalled glest in a different folder. This may need to be done if you have modded or downloaded other things for glest. The new version should be multiplayer only and you should not touch the factions or mod it in any way.

Also, make sure you're playing linux vs linux, as that works best.
