glest 3.2 build system lua setup ,who can help ?
« on: 18 July 2008, 22:50:49 »
I'm not able to integrate the lua scripting lib properly into the glest linux build system yet. My knowledge about gnu m4, autoconf and so on is very limited.

Is there anyone who has the knowledge and can help with a proper setup in the build system?
If you are the one please intergrate it and send it to martiño.

Here is a better patch for rev174 aka Glest 3.2-beta3:
http://http://www1.inf.tu-dresden.de/~s1445051/rev174_buildfiles.tar.gz

It searches now in more places and configure accepts a prefix. Just unpack it in trunk and apply patch with:
Code: [Select]
$ patch -p0 <rev174_buildfiles.patch

Please test.

Thanks a lot for the patch! I've applied it and uploaded it to the SVN, could you guys check that it actually works without problems?

Additionally we were a bit concerned about a lot of people contributing to the project and not being credited for it, we will be adding all the names of people that send us patches or help us in any other way to the readme.txt file from now on.
