SPORE creature creator models in Glest?
« on: 22 July 2008, 01:56:16 »
hello, while looking for new games to play, i came across spore.  after hating that it doesn't come out until september  7, i found the creature creator.

the important part:
does anyone know of a .GIF to .g3d converter? if so this would make creating creature models infinitely easier.
here is the link to the free trial version:

GIF? GIF isn't a 3d model format! It's a 2d animated image format! :x Are you sure that that game isn't 2d?

Nothing is impossible, but if they do it, I think it will be .bmp or .jpg to .obj or .3ds but .gif to .g3d kills logic in a snap.

No need to apologize! SPORE actually can open .gif files and convert them to 3d models. Not surprisingly, it's made by some mad programmers. :D
