Hello everybody,
does the texporter work in 3ds 8?? if yes..where the hell is it inside the 3ds :( i can't find it

you don't need texporter in 3ds max 8, you have a default option for render the UV template: in the unwrap window--->menu tools--->render uv template

Ok i've a square head
tell me where i'm wrong
i make the model
i convert it into a mesh
i use uvw map
then mesh select
uvw unwrap and i create the bmp file
after this i export the g3d file and...i got nothing
so i've tryed to use the bmp file as material
but how i use it over the model? if i try to use it i see a strange placement
...i'm really confused...

Check the scale that you are using, you can merge in your scene one of the example Glest models for compare the scale

For aply your texture on the model go to material editor->maps->difusse and  put your texture in this slot, then apply the material to your model (you can drag and drop)
