Mouse offset glitch
« on: 17 August 2008, 01:56:12 »
I'm running glest in Ubuntu 8.04.1 on a 64bit dual core laptop with a radeon express card.

I'm actually using the 8.6 ATI Proprietary driver becuase the 8.7 one was crashing the game when I tried to move units (along with a perpetual screen flicker for this and other 3d games)

So now I got a everything working nicely... except

Glest shows two mice in game, the glest cursor and the ubuntu windows cursor.
That's fine except that the ubuntu windows cursor is a full centimeter lower then the ingame cursor.

So now, when I try and scroll down, the ubuntu cursor gets to the bottom of the screen while the ingame cursor does not.

Scrolling with the keyboard is hassle...

any help?

Yea, the problem is that your computer is running too slow to run the game well.
