Maybe you should change the name to "Forum - Mod Download Center", because SST: LD 2.1 is an actual game based of Glest. And a few others aren't only factions.........

Blender is a 3D modeling program, and people of the Glest Community have created some Blender add-ons for importing and exporting g3d file, which is the model format that Glest uses. Hello, i think its best i should just post a reply. I just started creating a faction, which is now looking a lot like the tech, but will be different from it. The gameplay is pretty far going the right way. I also intend to create a story mode around it.

IMHO, I think it would have been better you hadn't posted that reply. Many people are starting and have started mods, for which they usually post a new topic about it. This topic is primarily for downloading completed (or very close to it) mods, NOT to announce new ones!
You might also propose a completed mod to be included in this topic's first post discuss the criteria for including (or not) a mod therein.

Anything else, I really think is offtopic. Sorry if I happened to sound harsh, I'm just trying to help.

Though that page needs some editing: Ballz is listed twice (exact same link too) and there doesn't seem to be a standard listing format (I guess people just go in and add whatever mods they like).
I might take on that editing, once I get myself registered on the Wikia...

Most of the links are outdated, just go to the mods forums discussion via the link. There you will be able to find the very latest available version for that mod.

The only problem with this is that it is completely out-of-date because someone is lazy.
Also, the grading system is way to strict and even so things are rated or placed right. $:-\$

The grading system is STRICT?!?!?!? Dude, you can rate it yourself. Heck, if you want, go spam fives on your mods. I wouldn't care (if you really think it deserves a five, go ahead).

Out-of-date? Hmm... If I can get on my neighbors wifi (did for the last two days) I'll try and update. Bear in mind that ANYONE can update by making the simple xml. Every modder has the capibilities to make an XML, so it shouldn't be difficult. The only things that need to really be kept up to date is versions and download (and maybe the description and editors rating, depending on what was changed). If enough people want it, I'll abolish the editor's rating and leave just the user's rating.

If you notice your mod (or anyones mod) is behind, either make the XML or give me the new download link and version.

Well, why don't you go down the list and check each mod, it won't take that long to confirm what's updated and what's not.
