Hello, i repost this after the crack of forum
i start a fantasy mod based upon my books and tales
factions are humans-elves-dwarves-orcs and goblins-undeads-Krafors-icegars-dark elves-'shiri-kar'

Could you post some tech tree diagrams for me?  I really like your ideas, but I'm a visual learner; I know it's a lot of work, but it looks like you're working hard already.

beta of human farm


the tech tree is a bit different from each faction...for humans is

castle --- worker ---farm----barracks --- blacksmith --- shot field --- library --watch tower
with shot field the watch tower can be ugrade to defence tower
with blacksmith u can upgrade amrors and build advanced units (basic unit swordman--davanced guards and knights)
with library u can produce accolite and he can build temple and wizard tower
temple produce clerics and wizard tower sorcerer
with temple and library u can research holy book that allow to create holy knights and u can build hall of heroes that allow you to create 1 hero (see hero points in the forum)

hello again, i'm working around the dwarven barracks when finished i will post some ingame screenshot, i've just finshed the dwarven blacksmith...stay tuned for further image  ;D

It seems to me that you and Gameboy are making essentially the same Tech Tree: one based off of Lord of the Rings.  Tell me if I'm wrong about that, because I don't think there are "Icegars" and things like that in LOTR.  Maybe you two could share your information and get the factions done essentially twice as fast?  I know you probably don't want to, but I'm telling you just so you know what's happening.

Could you show a tech tree diagram for your factions?  That would make this a little less confusing...

Also, maybe you could hone in on one faction and complete it and release it soon.

mmm yes some unit can be shared coz our mods are both fantasy, and about Icegars u are right, they are not in Lotr, they are a sort of dark troups, noone know their origin and seems they are infinite, coz after each defeat they come back strong as before. Shiri-kar are similar to goblins, but they live in mountains and their body is covered of brown hairs, they have wizards too. Dark elves...well u all can imagine them i supose. If gameboy want some dwarven model for his faction i will be happy to give...ehm i need animation for dwarven crossbowman...someone have a bip file that i can use?

They're great!  It's never released mod called Gods Dawn.  It's really inspiring for model makers I think.

..i'm a bit lazy doing tech diagram and work took me more time in this period so...u must be patient..
Gods down has some really good model..i like the work of Ka with them...some shot of that was used in my world of Kallen mmorpg
I will post a download as also buildings and ashing models will be done..i would like to animate also some tree or building but it's a far dream till now
 ;D
soon i will post a new unit screenshot

also have you tried exporting them into glest, the look pretty high poly, their great models though.
