So today i was looking all over the forums for a tortorial (sorry for the wrong spelling i do that quite a bit) on how to re-texture modles
does anyone know of one

you only have to open the tga file in photoshop, gimp or any software of image edition and paint over the original texture.

For e.g. when you save in gimp under .tga you have to check RLE-Compression ist not aktivatet. (Save... under)
