GAE Bugzilla Database

P R E P A R E ! ! !

http://http://bugs.codemonger.org! ! ! ! ! !

Bugzilla database for GAE and FPM! :)  That's what happens when you stay up for entirely too long and then take sleep medication, but don't let yourself go to sleep because you're obsessed with something and then you finish it and post on the forums about it -- don't do that.  Thanks for fixing my post! -- Daniel]

Looking good. What about feature bugs instead of enhancement bugs? Physics could be good to have as a component of GAE.

This might be good too, for test cases - https://wiki.mozilla.org/Bugzilla:Addon ... nt_systems

Also remember to keep conversation in the forum not the bug tracker (i.e. post a link to a thread in the comment if discussion is needed).

I'm not 100% sure what to put into "milestones", maybe the branches? or actual versions?
You are currently going by branches which makes sense to me because a minor version states what has been done in a release but you can say that a branch needs to have certain bugs resolved before being released (ie. voting for features). So continuous minor versions (or maybe 'developer'/'unstable' versions) with milestone branch versions.

I'm not sure what you are saying Kukac.

:( I'm creating a new account to double check it, waiting for my confirmation email to arrive now.  I'll hang out in #glest so maybe we can troubleshoot it online.

ok, I just got a new account creation to work, so let me ask some questions.
  • Are you using your email address for your user name (that's your user name in bugzilla)?
  • Did you get a confirmation email when you signed up?
  • Did you click on the link in the confirmation email?

EDIT: I was able to log in as you using the password I emailed to you.

Yeah it works. My stupidity was the problem  :-[  I didn't realize you had to put the email address and not just the user name!

I cannot register. :(
I entered an email address and got an email. Butwhen I click on the link to register, I get
"Das sogenannte Token, das Sie hierhergeführt hat, existiert nicht, ist abgelaufen oder wurde storniert. "
or in english:
the token you are using doesn't exist, is deprecated or was removed.

Whats wrong?

Code: [Select]
https://bugs.codemonger.org/createaccount.cgi?login=mictes%40icqmail.comMy Email is mictes-^-icqmail.com
Replace it with your Email. The "@" have to be an "%40" !!!

I had no problems.
But again: The Username is your Email !!! (When you want to login)

I had the database locked down to require you to be logged in to view anything for some reason.  I apologize for that and it's been fixed.  Also, sorry for changing the SSL keys so many times on the server, I was rearranging a lot of things internally, it should remain stable for now (but I'm not spending $400 US on buying real keys! lol!!)

Is it possible to have common searches on the home page? eg. All bugs or enhancements

Maybe I could just use the save search.

Yea, it's very reasonable with the small number of bugs we have now, but I'm not sure how to add it.  I'm going to make you a full administrator hailstone and if you find something like that that needs to be changed, you can just do it and then post it pls :)

hurray!  It turns out that it's this easy:

Code: [Select]
*** ./template/en/default/global/common-links.html.tmpl.orig    Thu Nov 13 10:21:44 2008
--- ./template/en/default/global/common-links.html.tmpl Thu Nov 13 10:19:46 2008
***************
*** 25,30 ****
--- 25,31 ----
  <ul class="links">
    <li><a href="./">Home</a></li>
    <li><span class="separator">| </span><a href="enter_bug.cgi">New</a></li>
+   <li><span class="separator">| </span><a href="buglist.cgi?query_format=advanced">Show All Bugs</a></li>
    <li><span class="separator">| </span><a href="query.cgi">Search</a></li>

    <li class="form">

So we now have a "Show All Bugs" link in the footer

w00t!! :(  I'll have that fixed and maybe find the cause of the "harvest forever" bug (you tell a unit to harvest something different and they occasionally harvest the current node forever).  Also, I have client communications  a little bit lighter weight (bandwidth-wise), although it's server traffic that's big (will mess with that later).

Could someone check to see if they can save their game on the newest version of GAE, or is it just me?
It is probably me, because I could never get it to save before either.

When I press 'z' nothing happens.  I have no clue what's wrong.  Also, in the main menu, I think there should be a "load game" button?  There is none for me.  I Installed GAE over a copied Glest directory, but I told it to overwrite any conflicting files.  Any idea on what's causing my problem?

It sounds like you may not be running the correct executable.  Is this on windows?  If so, run glestadv-sse2.exe instead of glest.exe.  Also, if that does not work, please do not reply to this thread, post a NEW thread, this thread is for discussing the bugzilla database.
