I don't know if this even has been tested, but I'm already at it making some models, and I was wondering what the average/max poly count is for building? Characters?

I use wings3d to model, then I'll export it to blender in .x then use the blender exporter to get the proper format for this.

I already have a dwarf model which It would be handy if I could throw in but it's like 2.3k poly lol
haha Yeah I'm already busy starting to get my mods in. lol

2.300 is a bit big :)
I had a look at some of mine

I have: 250, 800 and about 1200 vertices is the biggest I found, but its a combined unit with 3 big meshes in it.
Try Megaglest! Improved Engine / New factions / New tilesets / New maps / New scenarios
