weres the tutoriall?

It said in the manuell that there is a tutoriell but I cant find it.

Do you mean a playing tutorial or a modding one?

The game tutorials are on the main menu under new game>tutorials.

Currently the best modding resources are available here https://docs.megaglest.org/Modify_Glest Titi's videos are very useful for new modders.

I meant game tutoriell and I pressed new game but it came up with options for a custom game =(

A tutoriel is only in the newest beta, because it needs lua scripting.
So, for normal players its not availabale yet!

I was installing that and when it finished it said open I cliked that and it took me to a load of files does this mean the instilation is compleate?

No, but if you don't know what this is, this BETA version is definitly not for you!
If you don't know what to do you will destroy your glest installation!

I you want to try it:
- copy your whole glest installation to something like glest_beta for example.
- remove the scenarios folder from this copied installation
- unpack all files from the patch into this new directory ( not in original glests one!!! )

What I think is showing up after your "installation" are the files you have to extract to your (copied)glest installation.
