The game should only load the techs that you picked.
It lakes so long to load all 18 of them. (thats how many I have)

It would help if you divided them into a bunch of different tech trees.

I have already made a fix for this. I'm not sure if it only got into Glest or GAE. I shall have a look.

Yep, GAE only loads those factions used... Vanilla glest loads the whole tech tree.
