Would it be possible to have a different effect when there is no energy(=a consumable resource in my ST:3rdM mod) left.
It's strange to have building start burning when there is no energy left. They should just refuse to work (no units produced, no research, no attacking).

Also a message/flare/sound when there is low energy/food/whatever would be a good feature.

Alert when resources are low would be useful :) i agree
