Hey help me out?

so it keeps saying i can't connect. Or when i go to host a game and toss in network players it keeps sayin not Connected. I made sure the firewall settings are correct so like im not understanding this or somthing.
I know my ip# yet when i start glest, in the bottom left corner it gives me a diff ip# whats up with that?
all i wanna do is play this online. any suggestions

There are two types of addresses: local and internet. You are probably seeing the local or a loopback address in Glest. If you want to play over the internet go to http://whatismyip.com/ . This will tell you your internet address. Also port forwarding might need to be setup. Search the forum, port forwarding has been discussed a few times.

i know my ip address it should be setup right. i haven't check the forwarding thing out yet but if everything is unblocked for the game and i know my ip it should work...

the Game Glest isn't in port forwarding just checked.

i'll just come back when you guys have fixed all the bugs.. No use in waisting attempting to setup a internt connection through a game which has been taking hours of reading and lot of Bs.
I will say the game is cool tho.
