I see that under most, if not all users nam es there are usually five stars.  Sometimes they are green, others are golden.  Explanation? ???

Yellow/Golden = Regular user
Green = GAE team
Reddish-Brown (Auburn?  Burgundy?  Whatever color that is.) = Glest team

The number of starts is dependent on number of posts / rank (i.e. Technician, Battle Machine, Archmage).  That's what I've gleaned from it all, anyway.

Johndh is right. the reason you see so many five stars though is because all of the big posters have five stars (me, modman, mictes, johndh, titi, etc;).

I guess it wouldn't hurt to use this for everything off topic until we have out own off topic board. *hint hint*

I believe General discussion was designed for that. ::)
But it would be nice to have a new board designated to Glest's future/planning.  This would discuss new releases, features, features to be, features wanted (GAE is not for this, because we want that in the Glest engine), also mods that are completed, website stuff/requests, mods on Glest that are not factions/techtrees/tilesets/maps/scenarios (new designs on the game art, new music, new game settings).  A breakdown:

• new releases
• features in those releases
• features to be with Glest
• features wanted in Glest
• completed mods and discussion on including a link to them on the Glest site
• website discussion and requests
• new designs for the site
• new designs on game art
• new music
• new game settings wanted
• Magitech discussion (there could be an entire board for this one too)

Another star wars background. I dunno why,. but I prefer the nature/landscape backgroundws. Dunno why....

I also just read twilight this weekend (I believe books have no gender) and it was great. Reading new moon now. Maybe one should make a vampire mod...? *thinks for two seconds* No! To unoriginal.
