I'm wrong in several ways: RainCT and I were the first moderators, and I usually used editing the last posts for "short moderator replies", or I answered right directly where the question was. (except in the several places, where I didn't have moderator rights - since SMF I have everywhere)

I never attack, because it's not constructive. This is just a learning experience and it appears to be resolved as far as I'm concerned. Thank you for the apology, and yes, all is forgiven.

I think you need to realize that you haven't been "moved to a new level of power". You've been given additional responsibility. This is an important distinction because the Glest forums are not a RPG that you just leveled up on. If you're a moderator you have a job. The simple fact is that if a rule hasn't been violated and nothing needs to be adjusted (such as moving a post to an appropriate board) there should be no reason to use any kind of moderator-specific abilities. Consider yourself as an undercover cop. You're just here to post and read like everyone else - until you see a law broken.

I don't consider this too much to ask of you.

Oh, and I should mention here that the code for the one that was previously ??? was changed to :confused: so that we could type ??? which is commonly used in normal speach. IMO, smilies should not be easily confused with common speach, thus why most new ones are a word beginning and ending in ':'.

I don't really get what are you trying to say. Maybe: How I ended up not having my rights noticed? Well, I was the first mod, and my rights came from the old board, where we had a different group for moderators, but for some reason, it wasn't transferred here. In the end, we, the old mods (RainCT and me

) were left without notification.
