Cool I think I heard of them before... Or...something similar to the name...anyways do you make income? Or is it like what I hear, a scam...err...pyramid scam and such. Maybe not...but has it actually done "wonders" for you? etc.
There are a lot of people who think Amway is a pyramid scheme, but those people all either have no idea what a pyramid scheme is or have no idea how Amway actually works. It's a legitimate company, approved by the Federal Trade Commission and a member of the Better Business Bureau. Unfortunately, there are a lot of organizations that have latched themselves on like leeches and pretend they're part of the company but aren't (Yeah, I'm looking at you, L.T.D.), and they're usually the ones making all the false promises because they're the ones who charge membership fees. I stay away from those groups because, well, 1.) they're dishonest, 2.) they don't really provide any information or help that I can't get for free from the company, and 3.) they're creepy as Hell! You should see their meetings; they're like a cult.
So really, most of the bad things you hear about Amway are lies, misunderstandings, and/or mislaid blame. However, a lot of the good things you hear are too. Sure, there are a lot of people who have become millionaires through the business, but those are a small percentage. I make a couple hundred bucks here and there in my spare time, and considering how little time I actually put into it, the dollars:time ratio is pretty darn good. I don't expect to ever become a millionaire at it, and I fully intend on getting a "real job" when I graduate and only continue my business in my free time (much as I do now) for extra spending money.
Yeah. How is the progress though? Might as well talk about it here now that we are discussing about it I guess... [weird, maybe they grabbed a random pic ]...
Well, for the first faction, all the buildings are modeled and most are textured and animated, but there's still some polishing to do. As for other units, I have five left to do before I can make a release (adding the heroes later), and some of the others need new/improved textures or animations. Come to think of it, I haven't even started on icons or sounds. There's definitely a lot done, but quite a bit to go before I release. I can generally knock out an entire unit in a day if I've got several hours to kill, so any timetable just depends on what else I have going on in my life.
Any of you guys with the hot dry weather want to trade?
It's been hitting triple-digits Fahrenheit lately in my city. You sure you want that?
