Due to the potential nuclear fallout from the Fukashima Nuclear power plant, my family and I fled China.  Given the information about the potential for full melt-down and/or release of nuclear contaminates in the atmosphere, we felt that our children's health was at great risk especially since they are infants.
Ok, that's actually a bit extreme. Experts say that even the nearby city of Tokyo will only experience very minor radiation and laughed at people in North America panicking about possible radiation there.

Check that, experts from Japan say so, wich is very fortunate for them since then there will be less damage to their economy.

That isn't a bit extreme, because if I was living in China...I wouldn't take any risks. True, experts did say that...but you never know...all we can do is pray.

Yeah... if you evacuate and it turns out to not be a big deal, you haven't lost much.  However, if you don't evacuate and it turns out that it is a big deal...  Well, money and material possessions are replaceable but people aren't.

20km is the current "safe-distance", though some say up to 80km would be better. Dude I don't think you're in danger, but in case like this it's better to be on the safe side.

WTC thinks Japan only will have a down-period of 2-4% BNP instead of the anticipated 2% rise. Also there should be unusually much to do the next five years, and over all the economy will take little damage from the disaster.

I usually respond to someone else doing something good by figuring out a reason that they're not really as good as they seem. But I've been realizing lately that there's an easier way to handle these situations, and it involves zero internet arguments.

Me to, MP is fun, but unfortunately the maps are extremely small compared to crysis 1. *Hopes for graphics mods to arrive soon; crysis 2 standard gfx is horrible compared to Crysis 1 modded graphics* *And IGN(norant) says it has the best graphics on PC games to date. Sadly, they have not felt the power of crysis 1 mods.

Hahaha! When the sandbox comes out, let's design an awesome particle mod. :P

Even though Crysis 1 mods can bring certain aspects of Crysis far beyond any other game, Crysis 2 has amazing graphics for a multi-platform game! For example, superb animation, decent particle effects, better plant physics than crysis 1(in some ways, though the frame rate of the physics is like 10-15 for consoles I guess....), and the fact that you can make toast with a toaster and then throw the toast at people. I just finished the campaign on veteran mode, and I think it's a great sequel! Instead of a predictable story building directly off crysis 1, they surprised us, with an intense storyline and characters branching from the first game. The only few things that bug me are the glitches, the huge mob scene on mycrysis.com, and some of the voice actors weren't so great at some times.

Overall, I'm very impressed with how much they managed to jam into Crysis 2. I have totally stable frame-rates in Crysis 2 with great graphics, while in Crysis 1 I have a mix of good, great, and extreme, and some very laggy moments. I feel bad for Crytek, people are pissed off at them for delivering an insanely good game. Then come the killzone freaks....... :P The gaming community........kinda like politics, it's filled with tons of selfish imbeciles.

Crytek failed epicly when it comes to the game industry, first, a DX9 leaked unfinished version, then a multiplayer Leak, THEN they release the MP demo som days later, and after that then they have another leak with the whole thing for all platforms, several days (i think it was out a week or two) before official release.

Graphicwise, it is vastly inferior to Crysis 1, though they did the lightning perfect. I still find the animations good, but very linear, just like in Crysis 1 aswell. The fact that a 5830 can max it out verifies this easilly, such a weak card should not be able to max such a anticipated game. And it lacks ESSENTIAL new technology, DX11 is needed for modern high-end games. Though the graphics are great, more was expected. 8/10

The gameplay was not improved from Crysis 1, but the AI is finally made intelligent, and it reacts perfectly with the environment! 9/10 Because it didnt do anything new.

The storyline is good, without spoilering anything i`d say that they made a very good change, though it is fact, and they admitted it, they didnt to the transission from crysis 1 very well, the story is still good, and it is not the story of Crysis 2 that had to be redone, but the one from Crysis 1 :P 10/10

Overall 9/10

One could say leaks are a good thing. I've heard of many companies who purposely leak things for the free publicy.

Crytek already had a lot of publicity, there ads were all over the webs gaming corner. And it was anticipated to be the next "Ground breaking graphical FPS". Though, have you seen the bit-torrent movie?

Gabbe, you are not the norm you are far from the norm, you are way above the norm with multiple graphics cards and tons of processing power. Crytek wanted to make a game that a larger amount of people could actually play. The AI in Crysis 2 is impressive but very glitchy, and sometimes you can walk in front of it and it doesn't notice. Except for the design of the aliens and how prophet got to new york, the story was perfect. :P
Personally I love the new aliens, the old ones were pretty lame. The graphics in Crysis 2 are far more brutal that Crysis 1, as you can very obviously see when you encounter the crashed ship. What do you mean gameplay not improved, dude it's totally different. It's way more 'real' feeling now. Crysis 1 was beautiful, Crysis 2 is brutal and realistic.

First, to clear things up, bananas are radioactive, but in such a miniscule amount that it's hardly worth mentioning. Most foods are naturally slightly radioactive. It's the high potassium that makes bananas especially so. Cellphones do emit radiation as well, but again, in such miniscule amounts that it's harmless. Some worrywarts jumped the gun and proclaimed they could cause cancer, but there is no prove of this yet and the WHO (World Health Organization) supports that.  And of course, CRT Monitors exhibit radiation, again, in very small amounts and this is strictly regulated.

In all honesty, so many things emit radiation that it's pointless to argue. Many people are misguided about radiation. It's dangerous, yes, in large amounts, but you are exposed to miniscule amounts every day, and for the most part, that exposure is harmless.

I wonder how much more radiation we get from this big fella.

Wear your sunscreen, kids.  This one actually does cause cancer.

Omega, I can't believe you'd take something by the World "Health" Organization for granted..... You simply can't trust big companies, they are ALL in it for the money.

The World Health Organization is not a company.  It is an agency of the United Nations.
