I was use Glest 3.1.2 more than 2 months, in local network (Win computers, one laptop via wirelless and two with wired connection) and everything works fine more or less.
There is problem with very slow work in local network multiplayer and I find solution - run Firefox in background with site
www.pressonline.rs and everything works OK. This is not solved in 3.2.1 what's the reason I don't know, its little bit a funny ...
Now i start to use 3.2.1 and have lot of trouble ...
1. Network problem - because laptop is slower than other computers and can not load all stuff in multiplayer (I use mod megapack V3 too) i have Network Timeout on server, and GLEST can not run.
How to tell to server to wait longer for clients?
2. There is some unexplained crashes during multiplayer when I play one on one, GLEST just crushed. What to send to you and on what email to help?
3. It is immpossible shut down music during gameplay, you have buttons on config part of GLEST form FX, music and ambient volume, but I always hear music.
4. I see here on forum that last version 3.2.1 is mistakenly compilet with some dot.net stuff and that this is fixed now. But it is not, I download last night 3.2.1 and start it on laptop. It was immpossible to start without dot.net installed ...
Version 3.1.2 was really OK on LAN multiplayer, but now I have lot of trouble with 3.2.1, maybe because this megapack V3???
