That only applies if your exporting to XML first. If you are exporting directly to G3d then you need to set your texture up right in Blender or it will not export correctly.

I never had this problem and I didn't know about this problem up to now. Is this probabaly something windows specific?
Try Megaglest! Improved Engine / New factions / New tilesets / New maps / New scenarios

Exporting directly to G3D? Don't know anything about that... (I'm postdated, lol).

Did you link the texture though using the texture tab (on the bottom, looks like a sphere, and then a camo icon).

There is a direct G#D exporter in Titi's site, I linked the texture on the ball thingy like the video said.

I think I fixed the first error, but now, no texture appears, If anyone wnats to take a look, the file contains the G3D, the .blend and the texure on it.

uuh this was very hard to find !!!

here is the problem:
You accidently clicked on one of those buttons in the first pics!
Click on OB-button and you will see that there is no material bound to the object.

Another thing I saw, is that you forgot to set the timeline to 1.
By this you get an export with 200 Frames. Switch this to 1 to only export 1 Frame ( you have no animation yet )
and avoid large G3Ds.

By the way:
The number of vertices you used in your model are much too much.
If you create another model use much less vertices than you used here, its much too detailed
for glest and you will need big computers without any benefit to show many of these detailed models at once in a game.
Try Megaglest! Improved Engine / New factions / New tilesets / New maps / New scenarios

Thanks! I will try it, I can't do it now.
The problem is that to do the model, I added cones, but I didn't add any vertice appart, so I don't know how to make one with less vertices... I will try doing some things though.

Dude, it is not working, I did exactly what you said and the only things that changes is that the Material bar gets red :
