well no thank you on the XML i can handle that, i need someone who can do good textures like you(i like your textures by the way)to help me with textures so keep uploading those textures and i'll put some of them in my elementals 1.2

i'm thinking about armor so that any fire moves cannot hurt the fire elemental

but that will be in v2.0 right now let's just improve the textures ok :D

i'll download them all when i'm at my dads house cause that's the computer i use to work on elementals i'll be there tuesday-night and i'll get as much work done as possible then ok :)

and have you tested your textures on the game to see if it crashes or not? :-\

The texture don't crash.

I play with elemntals and you should change:
-Suppr. the cyclopsgeneral, the gryphon, monster, tree warrior, elemental warrior
-Decrease the life of fire elmental and add 5 regens for all elmental
-Increase the cost of the cyclop

I am working on cyclop and cyclop general(if it not suppr.) texture.
I make a new icon for elements.

good the textures don't crash

but what does suppr. mean?

battlemage(magic)-fire elemental(elementals)
HP:700                 HP:700
Attack:100-180     Attack:100-180
Attack speed:60    Attack Speed:60

this is the elemental basis(or whatever you want to call it)
fire=attack of battlemage and HP of Battlemage
ice=more HP less Attack
storm= much more Attack much less HP
death=less HP more Attack
life=much less Attack, much more HP, and healing ability

in other words they are balanced(more HP less ATTACK)

so no i will not change the fire elementals HP

The fire elmental was immune to energy attack but I will modify this resistance for 0.5 (half damage)

They're not possible yet.  I was just thinking in the "what if" frame of mind.  There's been some discussion about implementing them for GAE, but I don't think that will be for a while (if ever).

Or maybe making units able to get on fire, like the buildings.
i tried but it doesnt work, the fire stay somewhere and the unit moves around, and when it dies, the fire goes off.  :-\

I need help for the storm elemental texture. He will become transparent look like the genie in persian mod of Titi but I cann't.

Currently Glest only supports particle effects (like fire) when a unit is attacking, but GAE is supposed to allow you to use particles even when a unit isn't attacking.

hmm well i'm also working on a tech like magitech but it's called genesis and it's designed to take most of the new factions i've expanded the genesis.xml and the resources folder

Where did you get the music for your faction?  I like it, but you need to be wary of copyright infringement.  I fixed it anyhow, because it sizzled at the beginning and I had spare time :).

cause if so i will take it off and ask for other music

and i am currently working on elementals v1.2 and i have added a few things:

the magus of the old elements
changed gryphons name to gryphon of the old  elements
added some of huntermecas textures
added some upgrades change tree warriors name from tree warrior to elemental forest warrior
have improved a few textures
added the temple of the forest

these are the changes, although i don't think i have them all

please comment on this when it come out so that I can get some new ideas for v1.3

I don't like the gryphon idea, why? Because it has nothing to do with elements, you should make another flying unit that has something to do with elements, like a phoenix or something.

Some more ideas:

-Ice Golem;
-ThunderBird;
-Lava Golem;
-Trolls;
-Something like Shadow and Flame from Lord of the rings;
-Slime;
-SOmething related with water.

The music from the Glest Mod should be perfectly fine, but you might want to give credit just to be polite (I got NO clue who made it, since I deleted it after one game)

well thanks to whoever made that ogg file 8)

and about adding even more units:

I could have a new building called elemental_golem_tower that produced golems of each of the five elements
and i think i have enough flying things

and i still have to work on the magus of the old elements particle proj's

stuff i could use help on :

models(i don't know how to do models)
icons(i have made a few good ones but i'm not around my linux[it's way faster than this windows] a lot so i have my hands full of xml editing)
textures(only to make the current textures look better though)
 

anyway i'll upload genesis1.0 in a new topic ;D
