Hey need some assistance

OK i wasn't wanting to unveil my mod tell i got a lot more done ,but since i hit a snag i thought some of you may be able to help me. The problem is when i put in my model the centaur it runs side ways i thought it was my viewports that i was exporting , but its not i don't know what the issue is , but if you could help i've got a link to the video here http://tinypic.com/player.php?v=6ps16s&s=5

Looks like you have exported it sideways but its hard to tell from a video  :-\

Can you tell me how i exported it sideways? i'm not following i've exported my buildings and they are fine and thx for the reply

Press numblock-7 in blender in object mode.
Now the centaur should look directly at you (along the z-axis).
You should see it from the front.
Seen from the to the centaur should be at the center position.
This is the way it should be exported.

If this is not the case, go to edit mode( or object mode) and rotate your model to fix it.

In general:
y-axis(green) is for vertical
x-axis(red) is for the horizontal
z-axis is for depth

( I hope i used the right english words here )

I appericate the help , but I can't turn it the skeleton pulls the mesh (skin) and i'm using 3ds max 7 so i unskinned it then tried to reapply and i got this effect

I thought i was supposed to do what they did and use the front as left and left as your front guess not lol , but still any help would be appreciated =) thx

I know this effect in blender, but I don't know how to fix it in 3dsmax.
Try to find a mode where you can select/turn all together (skeleton and model).
Try Megaglest! Improved Engine / New factions / New tilesets / New maps / New scenarios

It depends on how you made the mesh, but at least for me once I animated the unit I group everything (mesh, bones, and IK at once) and can rotate the group freely, just never ungroup it while in its new rotation because it will distort everything. I generally do this because I always make my models in the wrong direction. It doesn't always work because for some unknown reason sometimes max wont let u group iks to other things. Try that.

My mom is called WarForTheAges , which consist of The Necrophilium and Nature's Force if you want anymore info you can ask me for it i'll be glad to give it out ( trying to keep most of the features a secret , but i wouldn't mind it ) ;D
