My son said a sphinx could be something like the beehives or the defense tower. ( I think modman had the same idea here )
It will shoot with very white rays of light.
I think this is a good idea for a sphinx unit.

This mod isn't dead just so you know... I have done the xml for the slave, pyramid, desert camp and spearman (using tech, magic and norseman models)
I have made the worker more interesting by allowing him to "run away" (morphing him into a unit like 5_energy for those familiar with dark magic):

And about that Piramid model, well, it is in .NIF and I still unable to trasform it to .BLEND or even .G3D but I will keep trying, the model is, a big Piramid in the Middle and 3 small in the side, I will show a picture whenever I can. :)

I like the concept art for the charioteer, but he should be an archer.  The sphynx would be a melee attack, where it slaps with its paw.  The scarab should be a melee attack, and the farm should be called Nile Farm.  The nile river inundated the region every year, providing rich, ferile mud for the farmers.  Considering the facts that the egyptians didn't have iron and that this faction is about the mummies and stuff, you would only want to have a spearman, not a swordman.  the main building should be a temple, which would store resources and makes priests that enlist slaves to gather resources and make buildings.  Though this may be a problem for the cpu, it is the best i can think of.  The mummies should be slow, but has a very strong attack and high HP.  The pyramid should make the mummies and the scarabs, because they were found inside the temple.  It could also make the jackal gaurdians Mad Elf was talking about.  I do not know what would make the spearman.  There should be a stables and a palace that would be required for the charioteer, because in those times if you were rich enough for horses, you would probably live in a fancy dwelling, such as a palace.
