It's not terrible, but I think it's a little over-done for my tastes.  I'd also go for darker colors with more gray and black instead of everything being red.  I like the impaled bodies, but the heads on the trees just seem kinda lame.  I like that you have bones lying around on the ground, but I think they could be done a lot better.  I also don't really like the trees.  They should be more dark and twisted in my opinion.  I normally like your tilesets, but I think this was not one of your best efforts.

Yes, its not the kind of tileset I like to play. I prefer tilesets like evergreen or autumn with friendly sounds and colors.
But yesterday I played a match with this hell tileset and I must say it was not too bad at all. I think, you should give it a try.
Play it in a well decorated map which you really know.
