Making a new mod,i need hints.

I'm making a new mod,so i need a little help.
I need my units to transform when the night falls/sun rises.
How do I do this?I have prepaired the day models and the night
models,the game is already playable,but i need every unit to
change apperiance day/night.Can someone please post me some help?
I just cant find where to use scripts,something like
if-night-unit_archer-change model-unit_dark_knight.

It is impossible, because morphing is not something the game does by itself, you have to click to morph and unit.
So I guess, it is impossible.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is impossible with regular Glest.  Try asking around the GAE board.

That is a good point are you making a werewolf or a vampire or something like that cause the thing iwould do is just updrade them or morph them after certain number of kills for now till they get it fixed  ;D

Thanks guys,i'll look into GAE.
Yeah,i'm making vampire,werewolf and humans,it has a few new approaches to rts stories.
I'll post it when i'm finnished,but the main thing in my idea was transformation,ballancing the
game using night and day,if i get this with GAE,great,if not,i'll post it as it is,and make it in
some other engine,so glest version could be a prequel for the main event.

Oh, god... My worst NIGHTMARE!

Twilight has come to life. I was afraid someone would try to make a game (or a mod) for it...

Twilight's actually a pretty good book. I just don't want to see it made into a game (I mean, look at what happens with stuff like 'Hannah Montanna' video games? And I feel REAL sorry for my sister cause she bought one of those pieces of junk...)

Although back on topic, please no vampire mods. Horror things are an overused, unliked, even dreaded topic... (what's next, Freddy, Michael, and Jason?)

My 11 years old sister did read your post and she said : "Can you make High School Musical then?" for me....
I'm fine with vampires, I didn't read or watch Twilight because I think it is for girls, so...

Not neccessarily. For example, lord of the rings COULD make a very good game if they could put the time into making just one really long game. RPG FF XII style. Also, there are some good action movies that COULD make good games if developers would put a good few years into them rather than rushing through everything.

Twilight isn't neccessarily 'girly', since I liked it. However, I guess they just say it because most guys don't care for that. I have versatile tastes.

You have a great point bringing out the old school N64 on me with the Goldeneye , but I agree that is one of the best games ever made

Very good choice John. Definately nuf said.

007 GoldenEye happens to be one of my favorite N64 games (though I haven't used mine in so long, I mean, I got a Wii, PS2, XBOX 360, and a Laptop). Other golden games include King Kong (ok, I wasn't such a fan of all the dark rain, but...), From Russia With Love (another Bond one), The Chronicles of Riddick (Escape from Butcher Bay), and the Lord of the Rings series (sadly, there is no single, long, enjoyable game).

I'm pretty versatile with games. I like RPGs the best, ones with good storylines, and that allow me to level up (I max every game I buy, just for bragging rights). I am not a fan of survival/horror, nor standard shoot-em-ups. What I like is a good FPS which has more of a storyline, adds some elements of stealth and strategy in it, and all that. Oh, and it needs two things: vehicles (TANK!!!) and sniper rifles (Dunno why, but I had so much fun sniping in Halo). I like a good RTS (like Glest) or a good sim game (or tycoon, whatever). I admit, that I find myself board by puzzle games. If I want a puzzle, it's Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess's dungeons for me...

I dont think you can make that because day/nigth dont have many influence on the game (only the player see more bad not the unit).

But it is not very important if the mod was based on movie: Exemple, STT was based on straship trooper and it is a very good mod.
