Elementals, Dominion, and Rebellion mod-version: 1.2

Welcome to the topic of the eleminion mod! ;D
the eleminion mod consists of many available downloads for you to install, and basic instructions are under the download link
if you are wondering what the eleminion mod is about...
there are two factions:Dominion and Elementals, there will be a third faction coming out called the Rebellion! :)

Enjoy the mod! ;D 

this model needs to be textured, exported to g3d and possibly animated, your help would be greatly appreciated

data/core or in other words the core folder within the data folder   into the menu file within the core file within the data file or extract to data/core/menu
and let it overwrite everything it wants to                                  and let it oerwrite anything it wants to.

NEWS:
everyone is welcome to give me models, ideas and anything else you would like to give me by private mail or in this topic
menu is still being updated, Rebel force faction is on hold until the Dominion faction is completed
as it say's below i'm having trouble getting screenshots, but i am going to make another attempt on the upcoming weekend

I find the problem:

Magitech tree and darck magic mod was in the file

Yeah, you had a lot of superfluous files in that archive.  I'm working on cleaning it up right now.  I'll upload it when I'm done.

and i tested it before i uploaded it, it worked fine
so i don't know what the problem is now

any could you tell me exactly what you found wrong

I think you misunderstood.  I accidentally deleted the archer folder and the resources before I uploaded it, so anyone using my download would have to copy those folders.  I'm about to fix it and re-upload it, though, so everybody can disregard that in a couple minutes.

The problem is that it's like four times as big as it should be because it includes a ton of files that shouldn't be there.  Other than that, it's fine.

Here is a list of the superfluous folders that should be removed from your mod:

eleminion_mod-v1.0/data
eleminion_mod-v1.0/techs/magitech
eleminion_mod-v1.0/techs/resources/grace
eleminion_mod-v1.0/techs/resources/tree

ok here's what your supposed to do with the data folder

extract the folder eleminion_mod-v1.0/data/core/menu    to the folder:\Glest_3.2.1\data\core\
and overwrite the current menu folder

that is why it will still be included in the download

that is why it will still be included in the download
Why not include that as a separate download, so that the people who want it can get it, but the rest of us don't have to spend the time to download an extra 23 megs if we don't want it?  You could also make the tileset a separate download, so anybody who doesn't want it or already downloaded it from the tilesets board won't have to bother.

Edit: Also, if you compress it as a *.7z file, you can make it even smaller.

i'll finish v1.1 and upload them all seperately
so you have more options

oh an announcement to the world that is important to me
i can now model simple buildings, and am now learning how to export as g3d :D

and about compressing as a 7z....i can do that through krusader so i will do both 7zip and regular zip
so if you don't know how to uncompress a 7z you can get the regular zip

ok people, the weekend is here and i plan to use it to get v1.1 of this mod out for you,

new faction going to be added, but probably not in v1.1, so don't expect it yet

about balancing, i hope that the changes in v1.1 are helping with the Dominion vs elemental air power
new unit(s) added to dominion:ranger, not so strong but rather helpful in large quantitys

new attack added to weapons scientist:super bomb real powerful but requires lots of energy. i think i did my best particle splash on that attack ;)

ok people i have a request for someone who can: texture,export to g3d, and maybe animate(optional)
to please help me on this, i have modeled a basic building and i would like someone to texture, export it to g3d, a maybe animate it(if you know how ::) and are willing to)

Suggestion: Why not a map/tileset pack? That will be more easy for download.

Hey.. about that inn.blend file of yours. I downloaded it and have been playing around with it. What is that box-looking thing leaning against the side? Did you have anything in mind for that?

I assume that the ellipse on top of the inn is supposed to be a sign.
