Glest in twinview

I use 2 screen monitors in PC-BSD 7.1 through mode TwinView in XOrg. Game is started in fullscreen and centered in the middle. Half of screen of game on the left screen monitor. And half of screen of game on the right screen monitor. Than you in general thought?

Same problem in Ubuntu. I'm not sure if this problem is specific to Glest or if it happens in other opengl games too. I'll play around with it a bit and see what I can find.

It is more a problem with SDL than OpenGL (SDL sets the size). If you search the web for 'sdl twinview fullscreen' you will find many, mostly rather old, entries and there are some workarounds posted.

Here is a more recent thread:

(7th post suggests some changes in xorg.conf)

Otherwise, just run glest in windowed mode.
