Glest Alien Invasion???

I have seen the announcement about the new official mod Glest Alien Invasion.  However, it was posted in February '08 and there has been no more news.  I really would like a new tech tree with the quality of the magitech one.  Does anyone know if this has stopped developing or if it is still a WIP?

as far as i know that tech is dead although i wish tucho would continue work on it(was it tucho or someone else i can't remember)

I wish Tucho would upload what he had done...maybe we as a community could work on it a bit if not at least enjoy what is already done!  Tuch was on the forums a bit ago but I forgot to ask him to upload the mod...
