Currently Glest seems to support only air and land type surfaces, eventually I'll look at what it would take to add water (and other types).
Hi softcoder, if you're not aware, I've been working on the pathfinder recently and I'd love to help make these boats do more than just float in position
We'll need to figure out more than just the path finding of course, but I believe I can have path finder working for water within days, so it's a good start
My first patch (just released) is a diff on the GAE, but if you would like to try it with Glest 3.2.2 I can send you the new pathfinder class files and instructions on what needs changing in the UnitUpdater and World classes (these have both been changed a bit in GAE, I think, so trying to 'drop them in' would be troublesome).
...Be patient with the models, these guys just started working with Blender a short while ago and are learning about the impact of vertices, etc. They are learning both static and skeletal animations and their skills are getting refined slowly but surely.
