@ johnDH the crossbow should not be faster with weaker damage. This is the opposite of a crossbow. They were annoying to reload and not long range weapons. There strategy was that you could carry them loaded and is what makes them most effective.
Anyways the chinese crossbow is not fully evolved. It should have a bit slower attack and a bit stronger too

If we were talking about European crossbows, you would be 100% correct.  However, we're talking about China, so I think you're a bit off.  The Chinese repeating crossbow, or zhuge nu (or "chu-ke nu" or "chu-ko-nu", depending on who you ask) was a semi-automatic weapon, where a simple lever action loaded the bolt from a gravity-fed magazine, pulled back the string, and fired, all in one quick motion.  They weren't very accurate or powerful, but they could be fired faster than a regular bow and arrow, and they were used militarily for centuries.

I'm in college, but let's just say I have an interest in many things. :)

instead of a priest, it should be one of those Shao Lin monks (those dudes are cool), the would kick guys and have some Chi attack!
I'm inclined to agree.  Most Chinese religions, like Buddhism, Daoism, Confucianism, etc, don't really have priests, but monks would fit quite well.

Anyway, hasn't this mod been dead for quite some time?

yeah, the monks should be major attacking units (those monk dudes could knock you to the ground before you could say, "hey look, monks!")
